● Cucuy Responds to Hurricane Katrina Disaster
Soon after Hurricane Katrina hit the along the Central Gulf Coast, El Cucuy organized a concert to help raise funds to provide help for those who lost everything.
The concert was held at La Curacao near downtown Los Angeles attracting well over 1,000. The audience was entertained all day by many local and national artists. When the day was done, over $200,000 was raised.

● El Cucuy rebuilds orphanage in Indonesia that was destroyed by the tsunami. May 2005
Renán Almendárez Coello, El Cucuy, and the El Cucuy Foundation reached half-way across the world to bring help to 115 orphans who were affected by the tsunami near Banda Aceh in Northern Indonesia. The children were rushed to the second floor of one of the buildings on the grounds by the director of the orphanage just as the waves hit the area. All were safe, but the director lost his wife and two children who were at home. The orphanage (Uswatun Hasanah) suffered much damage including the loss of the kitchen and sleeping areas for the children.

● Southgate Water Project - September 2004
Residents of South Gate, California learned that their water supply had been contaminated with E. coli and were advised to avoid drinking the water.
In response to the situation, 18,000 liters of water were distributed to the residents of South Gate on September 23, 2004 by the El Cucuy Foundation courtesy of the following sponsors

During a 60 hour radiothon, over $850,000 was raised to help build housing and a school for the street children of Guadalajara, Mexico

Raised nearly $450,000 to build 280 new homes for the earthquake victims of Colima, Mexico

● Yucatan, Mexico Herricane Relief - 2002
Helped the victims of Hurricane Isidore in Yucatan, Mexico by raising over 130,000 to repair homes and provide seed
