The Beginning
The El Cucuy Foundation was created by Renán Almendárez Coello after years of assisting the Hispanic community through his popular radio show, El Cucuy de la Manaña.
His listeners enjoy his jokes, advice and poems, but more importantly they know he cares. Renán's connection with his audience extends beyond on-air time. He has raised millions of dollars to help those in need and personally supervises the projects. He is truly regarded as an angel of the community.
To serve the poor and unfortunate, regardless of race, religion or ethnic origin, by helping remove boundaries that restrict them living a less than fulfilled life.
